JOB DESCRIPTION:

The accountant is responsible for the recording/posting of accounting transactions on a regular basis including clean-up and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts. He/ she is tasked to perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliation and other general ledger accounts schedules. He/she is also in charge of submitting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports after reviewing them for accuracy as well as
communicating to parties concerned matters that need attention and clarification. He/she is alsorequired to attend internal and external meetings when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.)

1-2 years of accounting work

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Posts client transactions in Quickbooks Online daily

Monitors, reviews, and verifies client accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adequacy of supporting documentation

Organizes chart of accounts with GL account numbers according to industry (Home health or Hospice)

Reviews assigned client financial statements (i.e. payroll transactions, verification of correct balance of cash and credit card accounts, etc.)

Submits of quarterly report and annual financial statements to assigned clients
